Manta Lighting LLC ("Manta Lighting," "Manta," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit mantalights.com (the "Website"), request a quote, communicate with us through the Website, or otherwise interact with Website-related services.

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Website and related online interactions with Manta Lighting. It does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party websites or services that you choose to use, including financing providers, payment platforms, social-media platforms, or other third-party services linked from the Website.

When you request a quote or otherwise submit information through the Website, we may collect:

First and last name;
Email address;
Telephone number;
Property or service address;
Information relating to your requested lighting project, appointment, service, or inquiry;
Communications and information you provide when you contact us; and
Marketing or communication preferences you choose to provide.

If online scheduling or booking features are added, we may also collect information such as preferred appointment dates or times, requested service types, or similar scheduling information.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, medical information, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information through a Website quote form unless we specifically request it through an appropriate secure process.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Website, we and service providers acting on our behalf may automatically collect information about your device and use of the Website, such as:

The Website currently does not provide customer user accounts or process payments directly on the Website.

4. Website Forms, CRM, and Lead Data Flow

Quote-request information submitted through the Website may be processed through Website and automation providers and then transferred into Manta Lighting's customer relationship management system. Our current workflow may include Webflow, Zapier, and Jobber, with Jobber serving as a primary system of record for lead and customer contact information.

We may change or supplement Website, automation, CRM, scheduling, or marketing-automation providers over time. If those changes materially affect how we collect, use, or disclose personal information, we will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate.

5. Cookies, Analytics, Pixels, and Session Recording

The Website uses or may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies for Website functionality, analytics, conversion measurement, advertising, and retargeting.

Current or anticipated Website technologies may include:

Google Analytics (GA4), which helps measure Website traffic and usage;
Google Search Console, which provides search-performance information;
Hotjar or similar heatmap/session-recording tools, which may record interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and cursor movement for Website usability analysis;

Authorized Manta Lighting personnel and contractors may access lead or customer information when needed to perform their job responsibilities or provide services to Manta Lighting.

7. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

Manta Lighting does not sell customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, or property addresses to data brokers for money.

However, our use of advertising and analytics technologies, including the Meta Pixel and similar tools, may involve disclosure of online identifiers and Website activity information to advertising or analytics providers. Depending on the law that applies to a particular visitor or business, certain disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising may be treated as a "sale," "sharing," or targeted-advertising activity even when Manta Lighting does not receive money for the information.

Where applicable law gives you a right to opt out of a covered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity and that law applies to Manta Lighting, we will provide or honor the legally required method for exercising that right.

8. Communications and Marketing

Quote and Service Communications

If you provide a telephone number or email address in connection with a quote request, appointment, project, or service request, Manta Lighting may call, text, or email you regarding that request or customer relationship.

Promotional Email

Manta Lighting may send occasional marketing or promotional emails as permitted by applicable law. Marketing emails will include an available method to unsubscribe. Opting out of promotional email does not prevent us from sending non-promotional communications relating to an active quote, project, invoice, warranty matter, service request, or existing customer relationship.

Promotional Text Messages

Manta Lighting will obtain any consent required by applicable law before sending promotional or marketing text messages where such consent is required. Where applicable, you may opt out of marketing text messages using the instructions provided in the message or by contacting us. Message and data rates may apply.

9. Payments and Financing

The Website currently does not process customer payments directly. Payments may be handled in person or through third-party platforms, including Jobber or other payment providers. Information submitted directly to a third-party payment platform is also governed by that provider's privacy practices and terms.

Manta Lighting may offer financing through Wisetack or another third-party financing provider. Financing applications are completed through the financing provider's platform, not through Manta Lighting's Website. Information you submit to a financing provider is subject to that provider's privacy policy and terms. Manta Lighting does not control the financing provider's independent collection, use, or security practices.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including responding to leads, maintaining customer and project records, providing warranty or customer support, maintaining accounting and tax records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, complying with legal obligations, and conducting legitimate business operations.

Some Website workflow or automation systems may retain submission-related records until those records are deleted, while Jobber, analytics platforms, and other service providers retain information according to Manta Lighting's configured settings and the providers' own retention practices.

When we no longer reasonably need personal information, we may delete, de-identify, or otherwise dispose of it, subject to applicable legal, contractual, warranty, accounting, and recordkeeping requirements.

11. Data Security

Manta Lighting uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, acquisition, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. We also rely on third-party Website, hosting, CRM, security, and technology providers to maintain protections for information processed on their systems.

No Internet transmission, Website, electronic storage system, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security of information.

12. Your Privacy Choices and Requests

You may contact Manta Lighting to request that we review, correct, or delete personal information associated with you. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may retain information when reasonably necessary or permitted by law, including for contracts, accounting, warranty obligations, fraud prevention, legal compliance, disputes, or other legitimate business purposes.

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply to Manta Lighting, you may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, targeted advertising, sale or sharing of personal information, or other processing. We will process legally valid requests as required by applicable law.

13. California Online Privacy and Do Not Track Disclosure

Because the Website is commercially available online and may receive information from visitors outside Illinois, this section provides additional online-tracking disclosure for California visitors.

Third parties, including analytics and advertising providers, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services when their technologies are present on the Website. For example, Meta and other advertising or analytics providers may receive Website activity and online identifiers through pixels, cookies, or similar technologies.

The Website does not currently respond to browser-based "Do Not Track" signals because there is no uniform industry standard for interpreting those signals. You can manage cookies through browser settings and any cookie controls made available on the Website. If a different legally recognized privacy-preference signal becomes applicable to Manta Lighting, we will address that signal as required by applicable law.

California visitors may use the contact information in this Privacy Policy to request review or correction of personally identifiable information that Manta Lighting maintains about them, subject to verification and applicable legal exceptions.

14. Children's Privacy

The Website is a general-audience home-improvement and property-service Website and is not directed to children under thirteen (13). Manta Lighting does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under thirteen (13). If we learn that we have collected personal information online from a child under thirteen without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

15. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Website may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, financing providers, social-media services, review platforms, maps, scheduling services, embedded videos, or other services. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies and terms. Manta Lighting is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or operation of independent third-party services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Website, technology, service providers, business practices, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on the Website and revise the Effective Date above.
